I know what it’s like to feel weighed down by underlying health issues, overlooked symptoms, the confusion behind health and wellness trends, research, and chronic stress. What started as a way to become healthier and heal on my own, led to a mission of wanting to do the same for others.

In college, I coupled my writing, editing, and publishing degree with concentrations in the science disciplines of biology and behavioral neuroscience after consuming countless texts about alternative and functional medicine.
Not only did I want to learn about biological systems and how they interact or become disrupted, but I wanted to understand the neural pathways and the science behind decision-making and our generalized “why” when it comes to our health.
Although my writing path in the arts and my science path in biology and neuroscience may seem like they are opposite sides of the coin, I was able to see how closely they are woven together when it comes to science communication and being a health and wellness advocate for myself.
